We purchased this amazing dresser from a friend moving out west for $35 (thanks kk). All it took was a few coats of primer (Freshaire from Home Depot), this cool oops paint that Jacob bought for $1 and an intense cleaning of the brass handles with salt and vinegar. We are so happy with the end result.
